Ministries

Ministry is not only what the minister does; ministry is what the people of God do in the Name of Christ as everyone builds up the Body of Christ together. Similarly, ministries (in plural form) are not simply compilations of individual tasks and efforts, but highly organized spiritual initiatives representing the wider purposes of a comprehensive community of faith.

At Trinity Church there are many groups where parishioners can find a setting which is both challenging and uplifting. Below you will find brief descriptions of the ministry opportunities at Trinity Church. Click on the group name for more information about that ministry.

Canterbury

As a designated group for young adults on campus, Canterbury is in the process of reformation and re-configuring it’s near-term purpose. Recent topics of interest have focused on medical specialties, legal research, equal opportunity, gender equality, discrimination, and rising costs of education. Canterbury offers an open forum for discussion on all topics in addition to fun, food, and fellowship!

Christian Education

This a small informal group that promotes a “family atmosphere”. The curriculum is geared towards children ages three to middle school. We offer Bible-based teaching aided by age-appropriate art, music, theater, technology, and reading materials. The children are separated into two groups: elementary age and middle school age.

Choir

Trinity Choir is a small, but enthusiastic, group of amateur singers.  We welcome all who wish to participate in the music portion of our worship.  No audition is required.  Our music is an eclectic mix – everything from classical to spirituals to contemporary.

Daughters of the King

Vision Statement:  As Daughters of the King we are women of courage who have made a commitment to serve God our King.  We wear our crosses as an outward and visible sign that we cannot live a day without Christ in our lives.  We see our Order as a community of nurturing women, accepting all people, bridging differences, and cherishing traditions.  Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our vision is to encourage and enable all to be reflections of God’s love, reaching out through prayer, service and evangelism to spread His Kingdom.
